The Self-proclaimed Leader of the Pack
Meet Ringo, the self-proclaimed leader of the pack. Ringo is a rescue that we adopted in 2019 as an 8 week old puppy. We were told that he would be around 50 pounds when he grew up…he now tops the scales at around 90 pounds. He loves to snuggle, sit in his favorite chair, watch TV, play with his toys, lay in the sun and give his mom TONS of wet kisses. Due to his size, she will get kisses whether she really wants them or not! He is a big brother to Rigby and Lennon. His favorite foods are: watermelon, blueberry muffins, cantaloupe, carrots, brussel sprouts, yams and salmon treats. Ringo can say “I love you,” which is one of his mom’s favorite tricks. Ringo’s favorite product is the paw balm. He thinks that it tastes amazing!

The Big Sister
Meet Rigby, our gentle giant. Rigby is a rescue from Safe Harbor Lab Rescue in Colorado. She was adopted in the fall of 2019 at around 12 weeks old. Miss Rigby had quite the start to life after being abandoned in a yard in Kansas. Like her brother, we were told that she would be around 50 pounds full-grown and this beautiful girl tops the scales at 105 pounds! Rigby enjoys snuggling with her little sister Lennon. Rigby loves to play and she loves squeaky toys. Rigby enjoys getting a bath from he cat brother Cooper daily! Rigby always wants to munch on veggies like her brother, with pumpkin being a favorite of hers. Rigby’s favorite product is the ear cleaning oil. She enjoys having her ears cleaned!

The Little Sister
Lennon is the newest addition to the pack. She came to us on Halloween 2022. We were not intending to get a third dog, but the universe had different plans for us! Lennon is also known as a “naughty monkey.” She is full of orneriness and loves to see what kind of havoc she can bring on a daily basis. Her older siblings do a pretty good job of keeping her in line. She also loves to snuggle and is known for her nightly “zoomies.” Lennon’s favorite treat is an apple. Her favorite spot is a chair by the front window. Her ultimate goal in life is to get her paws on one of the squirrels in our backyard. She has even learned to climb the huge tree in the yard! Lennon does not have a favorite product yet, but we keep trying! She tolerates the “Stinky Pooch Spray” but in the end she prefers her natural dog smell!

The actual leader of the pack
Meet Cooper, our first rescue from the Longmont Humane Society. Cooper purred his way into our hearts in the fall of 2016. Although Ringo likes to think he runs the show, it is actually this 12 pound cat that keeps the dogs in line! Cooper is the most gentle cat and he loves his dogs. He takes time every day to bathe them. Cooper is a napper and he snuggles up with Ringo frequently. We do not know how old this guy is, but he is probably around 13-14 years old. When he not napping or bathing the dogs, he hangs out with his cat buddy Tucker. Cooper also loves pumpkins! Cooper is patiently waiting for us to develop some cat-friendly products!

The office manager
Meet Tucker, Tucker was a neighborhood feral cat that adopted us in the fall of 2022. It only took a few weeks to build trust with this handsome guy. He is estimated to be around 6 years old. He and Cooper are great buddies. Tucker has never warmed up to the dogs and he stays upstairs in the office, managing the day-to-day affairs there. At night, when the pups pile into bed with mom, Tucker has the run of the house. He is known for crazy zoomies! Tucker loves it when some tuna appears in his bowl and his purring echoes throughout the house. Like Cooper, he is patiently waiting for some cat-friendly products!

Our mom, the founder and designer of the bee & the butterfly
Julie started making lavender based products years ago after falling in love with a lavender farm that she visited. She started selling her products there. Her line expanded and so did her plans for her own business. It has not been a smooth road, but she has persevered! A few years ago, she was presented with the opportunity to buy the farm she loved. At the last minute, the universe threw her a curveball that uprooted her entire life. The farm was not meant to be. She still hopes to have a farm one day to grow her own lavender, other flowers and herbs. And if that dream comes true, we know that she will add more support staff. As much as she loves lavender and making great products, she loves animals even more!
